US President Donald Trump has criticized former ally Elon Musk over the tech billionaire’s launch of a new political party, describing the move as “ridiculous” and deepening their public feud.
Trump also labeled the SpaceX and Tesla CEO a “TRAIN WRECK” who has “gone off the rails” after Musk declared his intention to challenge the current US political system.
Once a close ally, Musk and Trump were nearly inseparable while the billionaire headed the “Department of Government Efficiency,” focusing on cost-cutting initiatives. However, their relationship soured over Trump’s “big beautiful” tax and spending mega-bill, leading to a hard fallout between the two figures.
