Nigeria Rejects US Pressure to Accept Venezuelan Deportees, Says Foreign Minister
Nigeria will not succumb to pressure from the Donald Trump administration to accept Venezuelan deportees from the United States, Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Tuggar has declared.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, Tuggar stated that Nigeria already faces enough challenges and will not serve as a dumping ground for Venezuelan prisoners being deported amid Trump’s intensified crackdown on undocumented migrants.
