NECO Releases 2025 BECE Results, Announces Resit Dates
The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
According to a statement on Wednesday by NECO’s Acting Director of Public Affairs, Azeez Sani, a total of 179,201 candidates registered for the examination across 12 subjects.
NECO has also approved the timetable for the 2025 BECE resit, scheduled for July 23 and 24, 2025, covering Mathematics and English Studies—two core subjects required for progression to senior secondary school.
Sani noted that the release aligns with NECO’s commitment to maintaining credibility and transparency in examination conduct and result processing.
