Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has dismissed claims that suspected herdsmen who attack Benue State flee into Nasarawa to evade capture.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, Governor Sule denied accusations that the state serves as a haven for criminals, noting that Nasarawa actually has limited cattle-rearing activities.
“The issue is with the use of terms like ‘harbouring’ because there is nothing of that sort,” Sule stated during the programme.
