Ex-Presidential Aspirant Mathias Tsado Slams Senate Over Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Suspension
Former Action Democratic Party (ADP) presidential aspirant Mathias Tsado has criticised the Senate for its handling of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension, describing her as the institution’s “star girl” who should be celebrated, not punished.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Tuesday, Tsado condemned the Senate’s refusal to reinstate the Kogi Central lawmaker despite a Federal High Court ruling overturning her suspension.
He noted that the Senate acted outside its powers in suspending Akpoti-Uduaghan and urged lawmakers to take decisive action to respect the rule of law.
