PSG Coach Luis Enrique Caught in Scuffle After Club World Cup Final Loss
Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique explained he was “just trying to separate the players” after getting caught up in a scuffle following PSG’s 3-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Club World Cup final on Sunday.
Television footage showed Enrique with his arm raised toward the neck of Joao Pedro, who had scored Chelsea’s third goal after Cole Palmer’s brace at the MetLife Stadium.
Despite the heated moment, Enrique admitted Chelsea were deserved winners and encouraged his players to enjoy a short summer break after what he described as a remarkable campaign.
