Kebbi Governor Approves N2.2 Billion Payment for Former Councillors’ Entitlements
Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has approved the payment of N2.185 billion as entitlements for former councillors who served in the state between 2004 and 2024.
The directive was issued on Thursday when the governor received the leadership of the Kebbi State Councillors’ Forum during a courtesy visit to the Government House in Birnin Kebbi.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ahmed Idris.
