A spokesperson for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Ladipo Johnson, says it is not disrespectful for President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) to suggest that Rabiu Kwankwaso, the NNPP’s 2023 presidential candidate, could serve as Tinubu’s running mate in the 2027 elections.
“It’s not insulting to offer him the vice president slot; whether he accepts it or not is another matter,” Johnson said on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Monday.
He added that some members of the APC have contacted him to explore the possibility of an alliance between President Tinubu and Kwankwaso.
