The Edo State Government has officially declared an outbreak of dengue fever.
Announcing the development at a press conference in Benin City, Commissioner for Health Dr. Cyril Oshiomhole revealed that 86 cases have been confirmed across multiple local government areas.
“While the number of deaths is still being verified, the trend is worrisome and calls for decisive, collective action,” he stated.
