Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a two-year contract extension with Saudi club Al Nassr, the team announced on Thursday, ending months of speculation about his future.
Just minutes before the official announcement, Al Nassr shared a teaser video showing the 40-year-old Ronaldo strolling along a beach, declaring, “Al Nassr forever.”
Last month, Ronaldo had posted “This chapter is over” shortly after the Saudi Pro League season concluded, with Al Nassr finishing in third place and once again without a trophy.
