Governor Hyacinth Alia has dismissed allegations that the Federal Government has failed to support the people of Benue State in defending themselves against violent attacks by ruthless marauders.
“Out of the 23 local government areas in the state, 17 were initially under siege. Through persistent efforts, we reduced that number to nine, then to six, and now to just three,” the governor stated. “This progress was made possible due to the strong and unwavering support we received from the Federal Government.”
