Arsenal have completed an agreement with Crystal Palace for the signing of England international Eberechi Eze in a deal worth £60 million.
The Gunners pushed to finalize the transfer after Kai Havertz’s injury left a gap in midfield creativity. Arsenal offered improved terms to Crystal Palace, moving ahead of Tottenham, who were also in advanced talks.
Eze, who impressed last season with his flair and goalscoring ability, made it clear that Arsenal was his preferred choice over Spurs. The 26-year-old is set to become one of Arsenal’s marquee signings of the summer as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his squad for the Premier League title push.
