US President Donald Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a long-term but benign vein condition, the White House confirmed Thursday after speculation over his bruised hand and swollen legs.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the 79-year-old experienced “mild swelling in his lower legs” in recent weeks, leading to the diagnosis. The discoloration on Trump’s right hand was attributed to frequent handshaking and aspirin use as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen.
