FG Seeks Review as US Slashes Nigerian Visa Validity to Three Months, Single Entry
The Federal Government has raised concerns over the United States’ revised visa reciprocity policy, calling for a reconsideration of the decision.
Under the new policy, non-immigrant visas for Nigerian citizens have been restricted to single-entry with a validity period of only three months. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs argues that the move places a “disproportionate burden on Nigerian travellers” and is urging the US government to review the policy to ease travel between both countries.
