NAFDAC Uncovers Massive Fake Chemical and Expired Food Flavour Operation in Lagos
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has uncovered a large-scale illegal operation in the Alapere area of Ketu, Lagos, involving the sale of fake chemicals, expired food flavours, unauthorised fertilisers, and repackaged pharmaceutical raw materials.
NAFDAC’s Lagos State Coordinator, Illuyomade, described the operation as part of the agency’s ongoing campaign to protect public health, warning that individuals posing as legitimate business operators while endangering lives will face legal action.
