Rescuers are urgently searching for at least 20 girls missing from a riverside summer camp after torrential rains triggered a “catastrophic” flash flood in south-central Texas, officials said Friday. The flooding has killed at least 24 people.
Some of the victims were children, Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick confirmed during a news conference.
