Major Fire Shuts Down Part of London Underground, Causing Commuter Chaos

Commuters in London faced severe disruptions on Friday morning (July 4) after a major fire brought Tube services to a halt.

The blaze broke out around 1am beneath railway arches on Roxeth Green Avenue in South Harrow. The London Fire Brigade deployed 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines to tackle the flames, bringing the fire under control by 4am.

There have been no reports of injuries, but the incident has caused significant delays across parts of the London Underground as crews assess damage and clear debris from the affected tracks.
