The Senate Committee on Public Accounts has given the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Bayo Ojulari, a 10-day deadline to address 11 key financial queries over discrepancies in the company’s audited accounts, warning that non-compliance could lead to serious constitutional repercussions.
The ultimatum, set to expire on July 10, follows NNPCL’s formal request for a two-month extension to respond, a request the committee firmly declined on Thursday.
