The wife of the Anambra State Governor, Dr. Nonye Soludo, has called on parents to present their children for the Measles-Rubella vaccination.
Dr. Soludo made the appeal during an advocacy and stakeholder engagement meeting on the introduction of the Measles-Rubella vaccine in the state. The event took place at the Governor’s Lodge in Amawbia, Awka.
She expressed concern that, since the COVID-19 pandemic, many parents have become reluctant to immunize their children due to fear and misinformation. She emphasized the importance of routine vaccination in preventing and controlling the spread of diseases across the state.
